Jimmy Lee Sudduth (1910-2007) was an artist from Fayette. We have two art pieces that were done by Mr. Sudduth on display in the library. One is a painting of Hubbertville School, and the other is a painting of a log cabin.
In 1923, Hubbertville School was formed by the consolidation of four schools: New River School, Pleasant View School, Hubbert School and Hickory Rock School. The old bell from Hickory Rock School is on display in a glass cabinet in the library.
